How’s everyone doing? Hopefully well on this great day!!!
I decided for the 4th of July that I would go ahead and experiment a bit with Photoshop. I am currently in the processing of learning all of the intricate buttons related to this advanced program. All the layers, blending options, and effects are a bit overwhelming. Well after several and I do mean SEVERAL hours of experimentation I have a few images to display as a result of my efforts. Let’s see how I did.
I decided to use my awesome girlfriend as a muse for my first few Photoshop projects. I think she may have been a bit reluctant but finally agreed to allow me to use her photos for this experiment. For the first image I decide to go with a picture that represents her burning passion for several things she enjoys in life. Everything from fashion to travel fall under her realm of expertise and results in a firestorm of passion demonstrated daily by her demeanor. After thinking for a while I finally came up with the image you see below. Let me know what you think.
For the second image, I went with the exact opposite mindset. I thought what other attributes accompany her burning passions and came up with the image below. Keeping cool in the difficult situations that life constantly presents is a daunting task. But, once one is capable of suppressing the emotional highs and lows that accompany the daily struggles of life they are truly able to see things for what they really are. One would now be capable of seamlessly transition or better yet flowing from one situation to the next. This is my inspiration for the image below and definitely represents two sides of the same coin.
I would like to thank Barbara for allowing me to use her image for this project. I’m sure there will be more to follow so make sure you check back constantly. If you enjoyed the images, feel free to leave a comment below. I know we can work something out.
