We’re officially 3 days away from Christmas meaning were 9 days from the new year. I know its closing in soon but I hope you haven’t given up on followers and likes yet because there’s still time left to squeeze in a few more. Especially if you decide to rock these Christmas themed cosplays. Many Christmas events actually do not end until January 5, 2020. This means that although Christmas day has passed, the Christmas spirit lives on for a few days in the new year. Why not represent the Christmas spirit with these amazing Christmas themed cosplays.
Hatsune Miku
First up we have our famous Vocaloid character, Hatsune Miku. This character is nothing new but its always nice to see her with a new costume. Hatsune Miku has been popular for several years and still appears at anime conventions frequently. Its amazing how recognizable and popular this character has become. Especially when you consider the fact that she is not from an actual anime. She was only developed to be the face of a new Vocaloid Software!
Saber (Fate Grand Order)
Another refreshing costume for a classic character, we have Saber from Fate Grand Order. This costume is simple yet elegant. It also sticks with her traditional colors. Saber is one of the strongest classes in the Fate universe. She’s always portrayed as being dependable, loyal and damn near one-track-minded. It’s nice to see her in a different outfit and not looking so serious. This costume is also $50 off at the moment so I’m sure that helps with the Christmas budget!
Sweet Lolita Blue Dress
If any of you follow my articles then you will know I was just introduced to Lolita at Anime Weekend Atlanta 2019. I have always admired these dresses bet never really understood what Lolita was. Well, I can gladly say that after having an hour discussion about it with a friend, I still do not understand it LOL. But I can appreciate how beautiful this dress is. I’m also kind of a sucker for dresses with frills. So its only natural that this dress makes the Christmas cosplay cut.
Lulu (League Of Legends)
League of Legends characters seem to keep making it into my posts. I think its just because Riot is very good at appealing to the masses. I just wrote an article about TRUE DAMAGE which you can find HERE! Anyways, Lulu is an adorable healer with lots of cute catchphrases including “A solid Giggle Should Do the Trick” and “Youll See More With Your Eyes Closed”. Her Bittersweet costume doesn’t exactly fall into the Christmas color scheme but, she did throw in a candy cane. This has to count for something right?
Umi Sonoda (Love Live)
The entire love live cast seems to have received a Christmas cosplay but I think Umi Sonodas is my favorite. This outfit looks to be textbook perfect. It’s almost an exact replica of something id imagine Ms. Claus wearing. I mean, it comes adorned with the classic red and green colors, bells, flowers and even a candy cane. How could you not instantly fall in love with this cosplay. If someone purchases this cosplay let me know as we have to do a shoot together. We can even save the pictures and release them Christmas 2020.
Sora Valor Santa Form (Kingdom Hearts)
Ok, I know its been nearly a whole year since the release of kingdom hearts 3. But remember how you yearned for it. Cried, complained and begged Square Enix to release it? Well, show a bit of appreciation for its eventual release (despite it taking 13 years). And if you’re the type of person that likes to be cosplay accurate, you can now wield two KEYBLADES while wearing this cosplay. If all that’s not reason enough to get you to buy this cosplay than there’s simply no convincing you.
Linkle (Breath Of The Wild)
I don’t feel many people know much about or have even heard of Linkle. Without giving you the entire backstory, she was originally designed as a female version of Link. She was created during the development of Hyrule Warriors and unlike Link who wields a sword, she instead uses two crossbows. Her Christmas costume is absolutely adorable and is actually one of the cheaper cosplays on the list. Feel free to switch things up and parade around you’re next convention as Linkle.
Yoshiko Tsushima (Love Live)
Another love live character, Yoshiko Tsushima. This character is also one of the 9 lead characters in the series and proclaims herself to be the fallen angel. Unlike Umi Sonoda, Yoshikos costume is purple (See The Link). It perfectly matches her idea of being a fallen angel by sporting adorable little black angel wings. But forewarning, this character is known for having extremely bad luck. It somehow goes with the whole fallen angel idea. So I don’t know if your superstitious, but if so, don’t take any bets or unnecessary risks while wearing this cosplay.
Tinker Bell (Peter Pan)
Last but not least we have the extremely iconic and timeless classic Tinker Bell. So many people have forgotten about this awesome character so I’m glad they went ahead and gave her a Christmas cosplay. Now before you move on and turn your nose up at this classic, don’t forget who was there for you. Long before the days of League Of Legends and Love Live, Tinker Bell was there to help you with your cosplay ambitions. And besides, for $67, do you really want to let this cosplay slip away? Remember that Christmas comes every year my friends. You’re going to need something for next year too.
Robin (Fire Emblem)
Ok, Okay, one more. Robin is our second male Christmas cosplay and looks great in his bright red Christmas attire. A lot of people are familiar with this character as a result of Super Smash brothers and not because of fire emblem. Not going to lie, I’m included in these people. Even if you don’t know all there is to know about this character, you can still represent him in style. I have personally never seen this version of him and I’m sure you will be a shock for anyone favoring him in either smash brothers or fire emblem.
I hope I helped you generate a few new items for Santa. He can make anything happen so go ahead and expedite your newly reformed Christmas list to him and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed on Christmas day.
