TOP 10 Cosplay List
One of the greatest benefits of being a photography is seeing the joy others receive when I not only take an interest in their cosplays, but make their pictures stand out. I have had the pleasure of photographing hundreds of cosplayers and each brings their own unique flair to the shoot. No two cosplayers are the same and despite similarities between identical characters, they are still completely unique in their own aspect. This has become abundantly clear over the years and drives me to continue improving my cosplay photography.
With this idea in mind, I decided to put together a few images of some of my favorite costumes over the years. This list is not in any particular order and I will admit may be a bit biased due to my personal involvement in the outcome of final image 😊. Regardless, these cosplayers did an amazing job and I cant help but give credit where credit is due. So without further ado, lets check out my top 10 cosplays from the past few years. Also, I unfortunately do not know all of the cosplayers nor characters and would love if you guys could help me identify some of them, thanks in advance.
Kefka Palazzo
Starting my Top 10 Cosplay list, I couldn’t help but notice this phenomenal Kefka Palazzo from final fantasy VI. Throughout the final fantasy universe, he was a particularly unique and unforgettable villain that will remain etched into the memories of gamers forever. This cosplay brought back instant flashbacks to the days before bills and responsibilities and I would love to thank (Nico Castillo) for bringing these great memories back.
Cowboy Bebop 
Next up we have a tag team duo with Spike and Faye Valentine from cowboy Bebop. I was in love with this anime back when it debuted on Adult Swim. The story and character development of this series was outstanding and helped set the bar for my anime passion. They just don’t make them like this anymore.
Scorpion
Next on my top 10 count down, we have one of the most iconic characters of any video game or anime series and certainly one of the most evil. His fatalities were downright brutal and shocking but upon their original debut left players wanting for nothing. Scorpions kill list is as long as the Mortal Kombat characters roster. Because of scorpion, no one will ever look at the phrase “GET OVER HERE” the same!
Winifred Sanderson 
I was so shocked and ecstatic to see this cosplay. I have seen this movie so many times and never grow tired of it. If you have not seen this movie I definitely recommend you take some time to look into it, after the new avengers movie of course, lets not get to crazy lol. But seriously, Hocus Pocus was released in 1993 and still continues to spark a smirk from nearly everyone I show this movie to. Winifred Sanderson is the eldest of the sisters and the brains behind all of their captivating spells. Seriously, watch this movie.
League of Legends & My Hero Academy
Another tag team duo, we have jinx (veenacos) and Bakugo (babyriceninja) from League of Legends and My hero Academy. My Hero Academy is a very successful anime that is just entering its 3rd season. Long story short, this anime focus around the current Hero All Might training the young midoriya to become his replacement. They have special powers known as quirks which make the series all the more interesting. And lets not forget about Jinx from league of legends. Her bazooka and mini-gun have been etched into the minds of gamers for years to come. She might as well be the face of league of legends as nearly all gamers know this character.
League of Legends
Cosmic Dust Xayah comes crashing in next on the top 10 list. This is another character from the league of legends series. Xaxay is usually partnered with Rakan the charmer. These two have been known to wreak havoc in the league of legends of battlefield. But this fact aside, this cosplay is absolutely phenomenal. The level of craftsmanship and detail put into this cosplay is evident and I couldn’t help but admire the above and beyond LED work. Thank you so much for allowing me to capture this amazing cosplay (Liu Lius Cosplay).
Hunter X Hunter
Hisoka and Illumi Zoldyck are two of the most bad ass characters in the Hunter x Hunter Universe. Both of them are killers with a nack for deception. Hisoka uses a special power known as Bungee Gum. It is extremely durable and elastic. Illumi Zoldyck uses a set of special needles along with his digusies to become any character he chooses. This ability combined with his assissin training makes him extremely foribdle and one of the strongest Zoldycks in the Zoldyck family.
Vaporeon
Pokemon is a world wide sensation with millions of players spanning the globe. Naturally, I am included in this population and was completely stunned when I saw this vaporeon cosplay. I will admit that vaporeon was not my favorite of the eve evolutions but that doesn’t stop me from appreciating the sheer beauty of this cosplay. Karamel Koi did a phenomenal job and I hope I get to see this cosplay again at another convention.
Talim
Next up we have Talim from soul caliber. I remember many sleepless nights involving this game at land parties long before the internet was used to play multiplayer games.
That’s right im talking about the original dream cast soulcalibur. Only the true fans have played this version and know the roots of this phenomenal game. Grant it, Talim was not in the games original cast, she has quickly become of the most well known characters with a wide array of acrobatic movements to stun and mesmerize players. Nidalee 
Last but not least we have another League of legends cosplay. This Nidalee by (tiburoncosplay) was absolutely gorgeous. One of the best Nidalle cosplays I have ever seen. This Nidalee is sporting the classic skin which debut with the games release. Her spear has destroyed many a players health bar all due to one incorrect mouse click. This huntress stalks her pray from the shadows and lives up to her fierce cougar aspect.
I hope everyone enjoyed a quick look at some of my favorite cosplays from the last few cons. I certainly enjoyed taking these pictures and I hope you enjoyed viewing the awesome work of these cosplayers. I cannot wait to take pictures at my next con and continue not only improving my work but freezing some of my favorite moments at cons in time forever.
